1. Which NDT methods are supported?
Nexus NDT supports a comprehensive range of testing methods, including UT, MT, PT, RT, VT, HT, WT, PA, TOFD, and ET. Specific method availability scales with your subscription plan—ranging from foundational methods on entry tiers to advanced multi-method configurations on Pro and Ultimate tiers.
2. Can technicians work offline?
Yes, on the Ultimate plan. Install the mobile PWA, perform inspections without cellular or internet connectivity, and automatically sync your jobs and reports once you are back online.
3. Can we use our own report layout?
Standard Layouts: Template 2 serves as the default PDF layout available on all plans. Template 1 (our classic tabular layout) requires the Standard plan or higher. Basic tier accounts remain on Template 2 unless upgraded.
Bespoke Custom Formatting: Fully custom report formats—tailored as bespoke PDFs matching your exact existing paperwork—are not a DIY feature. Simply select Request custom layout in the app or contact sales, and Nexus will build and commission it for you.
4. Is there a free trial?
Getting Started: Yes. When you create your organization, you receive your own Nexus NDT workspace on our free plan—no payment details are required to get started.
Trial Scope: You can complete up to 10 reports in total, with one allowed for each NDT method, enabling your team to test real workflows before committing to a paid plan. All of your data remains securely in your account, including your company name, jobs, and reports.
Upgrading: When you are ready for higher volume or paid features, you can select a plan at any time through the Billing section in the app. If you choose to start a trial on a paid plan later, you can securely add your card on our checkout page—only when you decide to upgrade.
5. How does billing work?
Organization-Wide Structure: Plans are structured per organization rather than per seat.
User Allowance: Enjoy unlimited users on every plan without any per-seat licensing fees.
Report Allowances & Overage: Each paid plan includes a dedicated monthly report allowance, with additional reports billed at simple overage rates.
Seamless Scaling: You can upgrade your plan at any time as your testing methods and report volume grow.
6. Can we manage multiple locations or companies?
Workspace Structure: Your subscription covers one organization with its own dedicated workspace, allowing you to manage your clients, jobs, and sites all in one place.
Separate Legal Entities: A separate legal entity requiring its own independent billing requires a separate subscription—simply contact sales to set this up.
